Rwanda Energy Group Ltd (REG) is a government-owned energy utility responsible for the generation, transmission, distribution, and sale of electricity across Rwanda. Established in 2014, REG plays a central role in driving the country’s energy access, sustainability, and economic development through reliable and affordable power supply.

Operating through its subsidiaries—Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) and Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL)—REG oversees the development of new energy projects, maintenance of infrastructure, and delivery of electricity services to households, businesses, and industries nationwide.
